Rooster not crowing

My 4 month old Mille Fleur D’Uccle is not crowing. He is the only rooster but the larger breed hens are top of the pecking order so I’m wondering if maybe that’s the cause for his lack of crowing? In all my years of chicken rearing I’ve never had a roo that didn’t crow. Pics of my Jules (July) to prove he’s a boy lol
Anything else I’ve not heard of that would cause him not to crow? Am I just impatient? Never had a D’Uccle before.

First, he’s a cockerel since he’s under a year old and second, be patient. I’ve had cockerels wait until 7+ months to start crowing and others were successfully fertilizing eggs at 4 months old lol it all depends on the individual bird. And yes, having more dominant birds can definitely cause him to not crow. He will eventually. Trust me. LOL
