Rooster not crowing

i dont know if this is true, but i heard that they need someone to listen to to learn from.

It will crow in it's own time. 13 is still young. I've had cockerals crow at 6 week (try to crow)
and others waited until 30.

Roosters do not need to be taught. It is instinctive.

Crowing is also done on the pecking order. We have had many a rooster that
didn't crow until we culled or rehomed the alpha roos.
