Rooster of the week!

Pics
They are 5 months yesterday. I'm at work but I sure could tomorrow afternoon. They have a small..pretty small..bump on their heads; both of them. Small waddles still.
At fIve months of age they are both likely girls at this point you haven’t heard either of them crowing yet? Their combs should be pretty evident by now. Submit the photos when you can but it sounds like their girls from what you’re telling me.😊
You should submit your photos on a Silkie specific thread such as “Silkies they’re simply spectacular” or “the Silkie thread“. Many knowledgeable Silkie folks will review the photos and let you know for sure.
Photo of my 4 1/2 month old boy for comparison, note the streamers coming out of the back of his head the wattles and the comb is pretty evident.😊

Sergeant Littlejohn, the Cochin “mystery chick”, free from the hatchery. Our unintended second roo. View attachment 2367988View attachment 2367989

and Mr. Aegis, our Dominique:

Both about 25 weeks. As different in demeanor as in appearance. Littlejohn is serious, quiet, stoic, and very gentlemanly while Aegis is constantly on the move, a busy body and always In Charge.

And, as you can see, both happy to pose for photos. Typical roostery. I just love these guys! ❤
These boys are awesome! So photogenic and loving the camera🤣❤️

Is that a chicken pants on that cockerel?
LOL. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO CALL IT. BUT I MADE THEM MYSELF.
Like 3 weeks back when I use to think he was a hen, I dressed him up as a pretty chicken. So I have been feeling so bad about it after finding out he was really a rooster. I made him pants to make up for it. 😭😭😭😭😭
