This is my 3 week old Isa Brown. He/She is very protective over the group, and take a look at their comb!

Their comb is a Dark pink/ red color, and the tail is shorter. Pls help!!

That's a cockerel and not an ISA Brown. ISA Brown chicks are much different in appearance and are sex-linked, so your pullets are already guaranteed by color at hatch
The flash was on in the picture, But that’s very weird because the hatchery i got them from listed them as ISA Browns :(

Here are two of my ISA Browns from Hoover’s Hatchery, just a week old. Much lighter in color. All 6 came this color. Might I add, this is my first time with them and they’re the absolute calmest chicks I’ve ever encountered.

We got them from Tractor Supply, Who gets their chicks from Hoover’s Hatchery. But i looked it up and have seen Black Isa Browns
Black ISA browns? That makes absolutely no sense. Isa browns are brown and sexlinked. Females dark brown, males light yellow. Heres mine.

Anyways, yours is a cockerel. That much comb at a young age points to male.
