I'm sorry the breeder was wrong!
Could you tell us when you figure out what the Black Ameraucana is?
I have a 8 week old that looks similar to yours right now!

I was able to tell because i raised 2 baby ameraucana together. The black one have a bigger and redder comb. It would be hard to tell if you only have 1. But i am still not 100% sure. I will wait until it crowd. . My ameraucana are 12 weeks now. I will let you know later.

I have the same situation, two Ameraucanas and one certainly is bigger and developed a comb first... but then it just kind of stopped growing the comb so I'm curious if she matured faster, or if she's gonna turn into a cockerel. Guess we'll find out in the future!
