Rooster or Hen? Please Help!

I hope we have a hen for the sake of the kids. I know they won't want to part with their new friend. Any thoughts?

I would say this is definatly a hen! How old is she?

It's a beautiful bird, but honestly, it looks like a boy to me. :/ Age and breed (unless it's a mix) would help. I'd also suggest posting this over at the What Breed/Gender forum; they seem to know what they're talking about over there.

We were told she/he is an Easter egger. 6 weeks old on Friday.

WIth that coloring and that amount of pink in the comb at that age and those huge feet.... I suspect it's a roo. My ee's don't get any pink at all in their comb's/faces until they are much older and nearing point of lay, around 20 weeks old.

If he's an EE with that coloring, and that amount of red in his comb at 6 weeks, that's a boy for sure. Sorry. :/
