Dang! I really thought the coloring would be different in a roo, but he started crowing so there you go.

That much comb at three months says male all the way. Add in the start of saddle feathers, and now the crowing, well.......

This is the friendliest chicken I've ever had. I hate to have to rehome him.

You could try a no crow collar?

I have one and tried it today. He freaks out! Flopping around and screaming and running. It seems inhumane?? I feel terrible. I love him but I can't have roosters in my neighborhood. I want him to be happy and that collar seems to really make him miserable.
