Rooster or hen? This one is giving me mixed signals. 18 weeks old

Can’t tell if these are saddles or not. The hackles don’t look pointy to me. Better pictures from the side including clear shot of the saddles would be helpful.

Male, the tail is curved. Female, the tail is completely straight
Tail feathers don't indicate gender, unless they're on a fully mature bird, in which case, the gender would be obvious.
My female's tail is curved, does that make her a rooster?

A much better way to determine gender is using the hackle and saddle feathers. On a male, they'll be long and pointy, on a female, they'll be rounded.

So not the greatest picture because shes going through her first molt but when her tail is full is rounds even more. Should I go break the news to her that shes a boy. Shell probably love not having to lay eggs anymore 😂
