Isa Browns are a type of red sexlink. Pullets are red with some white. Cockerels are almost completely white with just a bit of red on their shoulders/wings.
X2 on the above. Easter Eggers are produced by crossing blue egg layers with brown egg layers to produce offspring that lay eggs in colors other than just blue. Since the parents used in the crosses are of different breeds, there can be quite a bit of temperament variation depending on which breeds were used.Easter Eggers aren't a standard breed, so there is a lot of variation in them regarding color, size, rate of development, and temperament. . . . With birds from a hatchery or feed store, you never know what you will get in terms of temperament. They don't selectively breed for temperament, so you can't predict what you will get.
