Rooster or Hen?

Hi, I would like to know yalls opinion on whether the black chicken is a rooster. I am pretty certain the gray and white chicken is a hen. I beleive they are both austrolorps and are about 4 months old.

First one is a Australorp. Second one is a Barred Rock.Both are Hens.

I am new to raising chickens and just joined your site ! I have the same question!! One of our chicken is almost 6months old and not laying yet! I can't figure out if she is a hen or rooster HELP! The other chickens we bought at the same time are all laying.

She's a lovely pullet.... very near laying by the look of her
