Rooster or hen:)

This is my four month old bantam Cochin.
I assume it is a rooster, but thought I'd clarify with the nice people on BYC

it looks like a hen if it starts acting like a roo like crowing or dark red comb and wattle roos comb and wattle gets dark red before the hens and the wattle gets bigger so just look for those signs and good luck with your flock

Could we see a picture of the the bird standing in natural side profile, not shooting downward with the camera. Bantams develop fast, I think a cockerel would have a bigger comb at this age. So I'm guessing pullet.

yes i have a roo and there combs and wattles get bigger

looks like your going to be getting more eggs
