We have a flock of blue and buff Orpington's that I’ve raise since they were chicks. Now that the are all grown up, we decided to reduce the flock. A friend adopted 3 of the roosters. Leaving us 2 or 3 depending on who to believe.
In question is one of the buffs. Another friend, who has raised away more chickens than I have, insists that the bird pictured below is a hen. It’s sisters have almost no comb and small waddles.
I also have a couple of Rhode Island Red hens. Both of the RI Reds have large combs and waddles.
I’m hoping someone here can referee.
