I have a question. I have a young painted silkie and a 1 year old buff silkie, and I don't know if the painted silkie is a rooster or a hen (hasn't crowed or had a egg) Yesterday I saw the buff silkie on top of my painted silkie I am guessing mating but I also read that a rooster can dominate another rooster. Does this mean the silkie is a girl?
