Mainly age and development match up for cockerels. The 2nd ones barring looks prominently black and has yellow legs so that’s why I thought BSL and only male BSL‘s are barred.I am very Interested to know how we can tell. Forgive me I’m a perpetual learner. I looked back at my pics from my first batch of chicks, and I’d guess it’s the large comb and gobble ?
I’m interested if you hatched your own eggs or bought chicks from a hatchery. Here the Plymouth Rocks are sexed From the hatchery.
