Rooster or hen

Have this black americauna chicken it’s 6 months old now and I can’t tell if it’s a rooster or a hen? It doesn’t have any saddle hackle coming in but it does have some pointy feathers on its neck! But it hasn’t crowed yet but it is a little bigger than my splash hen.

It does have a big comb and curved tail. Looks like rooster.

That’s what I was thinking but my hens comb is actually bigger than it’s and I figured by 6 months it would have more hackle.

Oh I wasnt paying attention to it being 6 months. That's what my hen looked like. Its probably pullet.

I dont see any male saddles and hackles. By 6 months, i think we can rule out her being a male. Pullet!

Thanks I’m hoping it’s a pullet! The size was kind throwing me off and some of the neck feathers are pointy but at 6 months my blue laced red Wyandotte you can definitely tell he’s a rooster!

By 6 months, you would clearly see male feathering. It's a pullet!

Americanas have pointed feathers so its confusing sometimes.

Pullet! Where did you get it? I would usually assume it’s an Easter Egger, but it does look fairly pure Ameraucana!
