Rooster or hen?

Sometimes as early as 10 weeks but usually around 12 and well by 16 is when male specific pointy saddle feathers start coming in and are obvious. I do think I'm seeing them on a couple birds already (the first one and the colorful one with red leakage). Sometimes pattern can make rounded feathers LOOK pointy.. putting your fingers or a sheet of paper behind them can help discern true shape.

Examples from google..

I’m positive the chicken in the last picture labeled number 2 is a hen. The one In the first three labeled number 1 kind of has me confused. I’m thinking a rooster but my husband said no. They look completly different to me from each other lol am I just blind and he’s right? 😂
