    I was wondering if anyone could tell me if one if these chicks looks like a rooster I'm really hoping so. They are 5 week old barred rocks

    Goodness what an ADORABLE picture! Post this picture on the Barred Rock thread, those guys would be able to tell alot faster.... I will send "BE A GIRL" vibes your way.. :)

    Thanks. I really want a rooster because I lost my well summer rooster that was only a yr and a half after he completely stopped crowing I didn't realize he was ill. Very heart broken. Anyways hopping for a boy

    So u think ones a boy? Cuz ones crown is bigger than the others

    Honestly, I could not tell you one way or the other... check them both and look to see if one is larger than the other / or one has a visible red stripe down the outside of the legs or one is devolping more redness on the face, or wattles are starting to come in. Like I said before check out the Barred Rock thread for better help.. These are just general signs.. :)
