It's a young boy who's voice is cracking as he goes through puberty. With time he will perfect that beautiful crow that might annoy you but when it's gone you will miss it.

What I miss most about my rooster is not having to worry about hawks and other predators quite as much. Even the neighborhood cats come around a lot more now with him gone.
