Rooster or Hen?

So is it just to young to crow? It just appeared in my yard last week, and i know my neighbors would be upset if it crows. Not that they try to quiet the herd of chihuahuas yapping in their yard all day. Lol.

It's a cockerel, and I'm thinking around 4 months old. His gender is probably why he was a-wandering, folks too cowardly to take care of their own Oops roosters just dump them. He's a baby and probably terrified of your older hens....imagine dropping a 13 year old boy in a house full of 30 something women

. He's be smart to keep his head down, mouth shut and do what they tell him!
