rooster picking own feathers? idk but what do i do

so ive noticed my wyandotte rooster starting to look pretty rough and i think he might be picking his feathers out of bordom because we used to have 23 hens and he was not missing feather and looked great but when we lost 10 he started to look rough and im not sure what to do.

Looks like your hens may be over-grooming him. Rare that he'd be doing it to himself. have you tried pinless peepers on your hens? Or on him if he's really doing it to himself?

Also, did you check for lice and mites? Pics look good, so I doubt it, but figured I'd ask.

Was he starting to molt? It is that time of year.

Witnessing his flock mates getting killed could cause feather pecking
 
It could be from stress. I saw anti-cannibal spray at the feed store last time I went. It's a rooster booster product, I've never used it but regardless if it's the hens or himself doing it it might deture further damage. I'm sorry you lost hens!
