I sympathize with you, youtubeminer. It's not an easy decision to make, but I've decided that my two problem roosters (one that likes to bite and one that likes to try to kill other roosters) are just that, my problem and it's not going to go away on it's own. I have to decide and frankly, I don't want to go on dealing with them to the point that they are past their prime for being butchered for meat and I'm stuck with them through the winter.
One of two things is happening. Either they are going to an Amish neighbor today to become Sunday dinner for them or they are going to the local processor tomorrow and they will become Sunday dinner for us. While I could dispatch them, I have to admit, I've helped process birds before when I was young and helping my mom and I just don't want to do that nasty job again.
As a sister poultry lover once said. I can raise them, I can eat them, I just can't butcher them. If you are like me and just don't want to do the processing job, maybe you can find somebody around you who does and can help you out.
Good luck with whatever decision you make. Trust me. Making that decision is the hardest part.
