Ok guys. I have a Black breasted Red phoenix rooster. He is mean. He has attacked my 2 kids. My step daughter who is older wanted him. She called me today so she could bring him back. He spurred my granddaughter. She was afraid he would not stop.
I don't know how or if I can stop him from doing this. Please help.

Get rough,or just take em straight to the dinner plate.

Take a water hose on high and spray him.His face anywhere.Come at him flapping your hands.Peck him up (Highly do not suggest this unless you can hold him still.Walk around with him in your hands.

Hold him to the ground and do not let him go,unless he's struggling to get away. But do not show fear or run.

A mean rooster is like a mean dog, it cant be trusted around children. I speak from personal experience when i say being chased by a rooster is extremely frightening.

Thank you. I think he is going to go in the cook pot. I am to worried about the kids being outside. Our daughter likes to let them out in the morning. But with him here she won't even go near the barn.
Thanks again

You've made a good choice. I can't think of any good reason to keep a rooster that will go after children (or adults). As Mary said, there are many nice roosters out there.
