Rooster problems

Nice to read all this. I Have flock with 53 birds. Firstly I have 1 dominant rooster, mixed breed, but with bit of rhode island blood i guess. I very much wanted my own rooster, so I bought then 2.5 months old Vorwerk. Now he is 9 months old. All time he has runned away till he cant escape and get *** kicked in ``corner`` till shock(before 2-3 months)., Now I have my ``coop`` in two parts. While this all I make two broods from each get a rooster, first brood today is 6 months old, and have one cockerel with bit EE bloods, and from 4.5 months old i have one Rhode Island black, call him like this there, he is from my old very alpha rooster and is startet to mate hens to. ;d
So in my second part coop, now I have all these 3 cockerels, and im very interested how its all gonna play out with time. Order now by the old. Much interested I am in that my Vorwerk is very tolerant to other roosters, and as alpha now aint gonna be very rude to cockerels. He is actualy recently find out how to mate hens. Same as both other cockerels.
Sorry for bad language. Was very hard to write this. :D But the main thing is after So. :)

Hi everybody I have a problem I own 50 chickens so I am no newbie to chickens but I have 4 flocks of them the biggest being 35 and the lowest being 3 but my flock of 35 is 30 hens and 5 roosters now these 35 birds freerange on about 2 acres and they have access to my other 3 flocks of chickens which have a rooster in each flock so my problem is of the five roosters my dominant rooster is a white leghorn and next in command is a black jersey giant and then a white sultan, mottled houdan, and then a silkie cochin cross so to get to the point will my BJG rooster eventually become more dominant than my white leghorn he also bullies my other roosters not to bad but will he calm down or become more aggressive with age they have all lived together for about 8 months so he is still a cockerel but I hear that game cocks become more aggressive with age so I hope he does not become more aggressive.
I would really want to see it all in photos, even videos. :) Would be very thankful.
Im lookin to make something similar.

I will try to get pictures and videos up but I am still figuring out BYC also the best way to get roosters to live together is to make a growout pen within the adult pen cocks and cockerels will see and learn from each other and so will the hens this has been my experience you will also need a rooster who can stand cockerels like my white leghorn Foghorn.

If I can get a video up you might like to see the other animals my chickens have contact with sheep, horses, cats, and the dog when he is out we are ranchers so showing off our livestock is kinda what we do a lot up here.

Mrs.K where you talking to me poultry bro and if so where did you read that.

My experience was horrible.Straight out i would rid of at least 1 of those roos.My oldest roo spured my others eyesa nd an d twisted his neck.He killed him.

Sorry for the confusion Mrs.K this is my thread so I assumed the question was directed towards me. And by the way ThePRFan I am surprised you had such an aggressive rooster I would not get rid of any of my roosters they are simply not that violent and the worst my black jersey giant ever did was peck the subordinate males or surprise them enough to make them freak out and fly this is not my first rodeo I always observe my birds behavior and if there are any signs of to much violence I always take care of it.

Yes,very aggressive. He fully ran him out of his territory. That rooster being so young he didn't just disappear he stayed in 1 certain part of the yard, but would no longer stay in the coop/pen nor go near the coop. His territory was the woods,or this lil spot past the house.I will never understand roosters way of dominance, but this just really didn't work out.If he had eyes,it wouldn't had been so bad,but he soon became sexually matured and begin battling his opponent. Not exactly "battle"but every few times squared up,sometimes spur at one another.

I was pretty positive most things were smooth and the roosters found their place in the pecking order,I was obviously very wrong, and wish I would've tried beter.I pretty much let nature take his course, and let the roosters do their thing.

Not even the hens were frightened. He couldn't mate, and often was kicked in his side if he tried. He was chased off even if he was caught near a hen.Ever since he was ran a few distance, him still being in the yard, left a advantage to kill, and that is exactly what the adult rooster did.
The poor young roo,was in terrible condition, and we had to shoot him.His flocking days were over.
