I have a silky rooster 8 months old that has a prolapsed vent and looking pretty nasty.
I soaked the roo 3x a day for 3 days in Epson salt and put vaseline on to see if I can massage the vent back in.
No success there
He eats, drinks and poops normal.
What do you guys recommend?
Maybe see an avian vet or is there anything else I can do ?

Welcome To BYC

Can you post photos?

Is he pooping, what's that like? (photos) Does he seem constipated?

What do you feed, including treats?

If tissue is exposed, keep it coated with the vaseline so it doesn't dry out. You can also try an anti-inflammatory cream/ointment to see if that helps reduce swelling.
