Rooster Purring?

My Easter Egger Rooster for some reason likes to go inside a small igloo nesting box and make a purring like sound. The Naked Neck Rooster just looks at him like he's crazy. lol

Roosters will do that scratching and 'purring' to help hens locate/pick a nest site.

Nope, none of them ever used it, every hen uses the coops. I had that in there just in case the cream legbar tried laying them on the ground (she never did) so I just took it out.
