Rooster Question

Hello, we currently have 3 hens and 1 rooster. They are all Bantams. The rooster is a silkie.
They are about 2 years old and my questions is we are wanting to move our rooster to a different family and was wondering if that would disrupt the flock. OR is this something that can be done and the hens wont be affected by it. We only have the hens for the eggs.
Appreciate any advice.

Any change will affect a flock. However, unless one hen has an unusually strong bond, usually due to being brooded with him, the affect will be short-lived and usually not even noticeable.
