Rooster situation

I don't keep human aggressive birds, period. If a cockerel tries to take me on, he gets corrected. If he doesn't get the message, he's history. Life is too short to have a nasty rooster!
By all means, start over with new cockerels!

RIR Roos can be like the devil!

Not mine, he was the sweetest most gentle rooster ever. His name was Barney because he reminded me of a big red barn

We put up with him for too long, and we learned. Never again!

Ya, I also had a white leghorn rooster. He was a pain. He was small, but he was quick and mean. I gave him to my neighbors and they ate him. Now this one's going in the stewpot too.

I had a RIR roo also that was so docile and sweet, he loved to perch on my arm or shoulder while I went about feeding and watering etc all of the others. That being said, he HATED my husband and spurred him every chance he got so he made me rehome him

Here’s a couple pictures of the roosters I chose. I still don’t know what the gray one could be a mix of. The options are buff Orpington, ameracauna, brown leghorn, fully dixie rainbow, Rhode Island Red, silver laced Wyandotte, black sex link, barred rock. All mixed with dixie rainbow.
