rooster spurs, how do you trim them?

I have a rooster with spurs growing up towards his bottom. Do I trim or cut off? How do you do it?
 
i havent had to do my roos yet but i did watch the how to on "you tube" ... it looks easy enough..

I use a Dremel tool with the disks that you use to cut off screws and such. As long as you don't get too deep, they usually don't bleed, but be prepared if they do. Have a little flour on hand to help stop the bleeding.
 
I was just going to ask the very same thing. have a huge rooster and his spurs are starting to grow..big spurs. and seeing as how he forgets on occasion his manners...they need to come off
