Rooster? squatting

I have a young silkie just coming to the time when one would expect point of lay. I thought that the silkie was a rooster but today when I went out to handle them and change food and water, I reached out to pet him/her and he/she squatted. Does this mean I really have a pullet after all

Sorry the picture is not the greatest. I am bad at photography. She/he is 21 weeks old. Never crowed.

Roosters don't have as much puff on their head and their head feathers are swept back. She should start laying soon

Thanks, I am so happy. The rooster that this pullet is out of, typically throws roosters and so it is nice to get a pullet for once. I cannot wait for her to start laying.
