Rooster started humping my TV remote.😱

I would find a local farm or place where he can live as a happy chicken and will allow you to visit. Then maybe get a cat or a small dog? Eventually you are going to get sick and the animal you love so much is suffering.... it will be much more painful if someone discovers him and animal services comes and takes him from you. If you give him away you can control his future.

I would try having a chicken as a house pet *for sure* if I could...I love my birds. But I know it wouldn't work out and I know I'd get tired of the diapers and whatever, like I get tired of cleaning up after everyone else in my house...so I just keep the chickens in the chicken house. But if you wanna keep one inside, it's a personal choice and I don't think there's anything wrong with it. Sickness is always a debate when people talk about this. I think I'd be just as likely to get sick from handling my chickens outside, cleaning their s***, forgetting to wash an egg...whatevs.

I have Roos & Hens, my Roos are friendly, some are very friendly & will sit my lap for pets. 2 of them have been "very affectionate" humping my hand at times. Since they have a harem of hens, there's no reason for this, other than they're letting me know, they like me. 😆

You may want to start asking around to find him another loving home, though...what will happen when your neighbors hear him crow?

He is not saying that he likes you. He is dominating you. Petting a rooster simulates a submissive hen preening them.
