Rooster starting to..

Who else thinks its funny when a young rooster is starting to croo? We have one and he sounds like a turkey or something lol!

It's hilarious, but they get all upset when you laugh at them....which makes it even funnier.

the bad thing is he is really loud so everyone can hear him! It makes me laugh! Ha

I love it when my young cockerels start crowing. Makes me smile. And sometimes it makes me laugh - but I try not to let them hear me

Here's Duke about a year ago - he was only 6 weeks old



And here's Pico, an 8 week old cockeral, crowing this morning - the loud crow is what Duke sounds like now, and the other is Pico answering him



Music to my ears. I've got four of them serenading me now. Lordy, I love my boys.

whats with y'all and your early crowing roos??

it's taken about 6 months for my little d'uccle roo, and almost 7 months for the naked neck boys

I have to get a video of the dominate NN roo crowing, he sounds......odd?...like...he's dying LOL

I have 4 OEGB that are crowing. They sound like your stepping on mice. Also I can't count out my crowing pullet........
