Rooster stopped crowing and now just squeaks??

Hello, I'm new to raising chickens. I have a 18 week old rooster that crowed a lot but today he hasn't crowed but squeaks instead. I can't see any other symptoms. Any suggestions?

I'm far from an expert, but maybe he has a throat infection or some kind of embolism that is preventing him from using his crowing apparatus effectively? Bet your neighbours are happy either way!

The video says that it is private. Maybe your rooster is getting ready to crow, and is just figuring it out.
