Rooster stopped crowing? Why?

Not that I am complaining, but our rooster has stopped crowing. We started bringing him indoors in the evenings and letting him out during the day. He crowed while he was indoors at night, but now he has stopped all together. Last night I forgot to bring him in, and he never crowed. Does anyone know about this?

My two stand on the deck, under a window, by the door..etc and crow and crow and crow. As they are doing right now. Enough already!

Is he the only rooster you have, if not he is getting the crap whooped out of him and dont want to draw attention by crowing.
