I've had a few. My easter eggers that were the devil. I had a buff orpington who started to get a bit of an attitude and after I reminded him I was in charge things went well
. My current roo is some sort of banty x standard mix and while he's only about 7 mo old is great. He is friendly with the girls and stays away from me. There are good ones and bad ones. The good news is they are a dime a dozen. You can try a few out until you find the one that works for you. The buff is in my avatar, napping with his favorite girl. This is the current one.

we have had several over the yrs. I only allow those to breed that get along with other roosters.
