Rooster That want sleep!

I have a rooster that is up at all times of the night. He will start to crow as early as 3:30 and keep it up until mid morning. Any ideal what makes him get up so early. He is in his coop with the doors closed and the hens roosting.

You might have a roo with a mis-set clock?

Mine only did that once and we had an owl ON THE COOP - they were all safe but the roo was upset.

maybe something is bothering him, like you have a predator around the coop every night. Also, my roos will crow more at night if the neighbors dog is barking.
