Hello. This is kind of the random, but I’m kind of interested in what my rooster is doing. So I have two roosters in a bachelor coop and run, who were raised together, and I’ve noticed that whenever I throw treats in that one of them, Zip, tidbits and the other, Dot gobbles down all the treats. They are placed right next ti the regular coop, but do not share a fence. Is Zip trying to call over ladies and Dot just gobbled them down quicker? Or is Zip tidbitting for Dot? Zip has always been more dominant, even while hatching, and Dot is smaller and more submissive. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Yeah I've seen them do that too.
I think that tidbitting is a phase they move into that indicates they are a mature roo. They are set to share and don't particularly mind who shares.

One day our sweet Clifford was tidbitting for a Cardinal, breaking the bigger pieces up and spitting them back out.
I want a picture of that so bad! But most days the Cardinals flit about really quick snatching scratch so I'm not sure if it will happen again.
