rooster troubles...

Two of my chicks are definitely roosters. I need to find a home for at least one of them, probably both since it worries me to have a rooster around my young daughter. I have spoken with anyone I know in the area who may take them and no one can. I have also called local feed stores and other than posting an ad there's nothing else they can do. I don't want them to end up in bad hands, but I'm lost as to how to rehome them. They have spur buds, but no nails on them yet and they haven't hurt each other yet, but I don't have space to house them separately so they're still living together with the pullets and are fighting off and on, which worries me a little more each day. Other than Craigslist where can I find a good home for them?

Hi and welcome to BYC! You could post in your state thread on here and see if anyone would like a few roosters, or you could post in Buy/Sell/Trade after you have 20 posts. Thanks for joining us and good luck!

Unfortunately, when it's time to get rid of roosters, you don't have a lot of choice. Best to advertise and don't ask questions.
