So I have these aseel roosters one is 6 years old and the other is about 4 .
The problem is that both of them has the same issue .whenever I feed them their wattles turns purple sometime not always but it does occurs sometimes and then they stop eating for a few seconds .today one of them completely turned purple while eating and put it's head on the floor for quite sometime bit then recovered I also noticed that the rooster beak was covered with some dirty mucus .I don't know what is happening it couldn't be bacterial or viral infection because it's going on for about an year or so. Also today when I pick him up it turns bit purple bit when I let it go it recovers . Any idea what could be wrong

purple generally signifies poor circulation - a failing heart for example, and it being worse when stressed by being picked up would fit with that diagnosis. The mucus is a respiratory issue. They may be connected. Hopefully others will be along soon with some detailed advice for you.
