rooster w rritated feet?

Ive noticed the last couple of days my RIR 10 month old rooster has what looks like a pinkish irritated looking area between webs of both feet and in the back of both feet. He is walking normally and does not exhibit any scales or mites. I have been careful to treat recently his area for fleas with permethrin sokutiin and this seems to be working...the other chickens are fine. yesterday I widdened his perch because i thought it may be too narrow and possibly bothering him (as it had only 1.5 inches before and his feet had gotten so big in the last couple of months) ..any ideas?

He looks fine to me.
It could be a mild hormone flush. In the spring, he'll have pink bands running up his legs.
