I posted here the other day asking about combing antibiotics, fenbendazole treatment and corid and the possible harm of doing all at once. The consensus was it was fine. I started the corid a few days ago, after the antibiotics since they both had to go into water. Today is day 3 of the corid. Last dose of the fenbendazole was yesterday. They have capillary worms so had to do the 5 day treatment. Today my rooster is not wanting to walk or eat. When he does walk he is very stiff. He has no injuries or swelling and was completely fine yesterday. My concern is that he now has a vitamin deficiency or aggravated gastrointestinal issues from the combination of medications for the last 2 weeks. I still have a week of the corid to go. I know you're not supposed to give vitamins while on corid but what if his issue is due to a depletion of vitamins? I will say i do have a mixed flock (9m old to 8yrs old) and the stool sample taken was a mixture of several samples. So not sure if he even has coccidia as he's about 3 or 4 yrs old. What would you do in this case? Stop giving him corid and give vitamins to see if that resolves the issue? I called my vet but haven't heard back.

How old is this rooster?
Does he have Bumblefoot? Photos?

Get a video of him walking. Upload to the BYC Gallery or Youtube.

3 days on Corid if giving the correct dose will not cause a vitamin deficiency. Your Vet I assume recommended treating for Coccidiosis (according to your other thread?)

Amoxcillin which is the antibiotic you were giving according to your other thread is usually well tolerated. Was an antibiotic the only treatment administered for Bumblefoot or was the foot cleaned out, pus removed, wrapped, etc.?

Same with Fenbendazole for deworming. If your birds have Capillary worms, this can be dangerous and cause health issue in birds.

Check your rooster's crop to make sure it's emptying overnight. Get some photos of the overnight droppings and of him too.
Encourage him to stay hydrated and eating.

All but 3 of my chickens ended up with bumblefoot, long ... Vet has them on amoxicillin in the water and they have about 3 more days of that. Fecal test came back today positive for Capillaries and coccidia. Im starting the 5 day treatment for the capillaries today, I've had them off and on for years. Obviously I can't start the corid until the antibiotics are done. My question is, would you recommend a little down time between the antibiotics / deworming treatment and starting the corid or should i start the corid directly after the antibiotics are done? I scoop their poop daily and have not seen anything that would indicate coccidia so I think it's probably an early infection but obviously don't want to wait until it gets too bad. Just a little concerned about putting them through too much at once especially with the capillary treatment being so extensive. Thoughts?
