Rooster walks his hens to the nesting box each day, then takes over the nesting box instead of letting them lay their egg?

Not every rooster will do this. I had one 2 roosters ago, and I swear he would show her, explaining why this was good, and she would roll her eyes, and try another spot, and he would nod, like, 'Well, yes, that is a good spot too!'

I just want one broody to raise my chicks. But thanks for reminding me to give away the babies!!! 10 is too much!!

Oh a broody hen is fun! All of the fun, none of the work. It is the longest 21 days EVER!

I have Grandma Feathers, that is setting as we speak, another week. A chick she raised last year, went broody me too. I am glad, cause Grandma is my oldest hen.
