Hi,Anybody need to give your rooster a loving home? I live near Visalia. In the Central Valley California. Ask anyone on BYC. They know about me and how much I love and care for my pet chickens.I'm going to attempt expanding my flock, and your roo, would be living in paradise!
Hi Krisy31,Hi,
I am in Northern California and have 3 Bantam silkie roosters and 1 female in need of rehoming. I have not been able to find anyone in my area to take them, I would be willing to drive them to you if you are still taking roos. They were born on May 1st and have been raised together, I am concerned about keeping the female since she will be alone but I am thinking she will be easier to rehome.
1 Golden crested polish roo
1 white silkie
2 black Cochran silkies, 1 roo and 1 female.
Thank you for taking roos and providing a home for them!
Thank you all, here on BYC. I have found my needed rooster. He's the perfect fit for my flock, A great friend to me, and he's from a ranch only six miles away.Anybody need to give your rooster a loving home? I live near Visalia. Quite a road trip! I have a plane, but I don't fly over the Rockies either.I have a Red/Blue partridge EE cockerel, I would've given you.
You live too far to pick him up anyway, unless you like road trips.
Really? Flying is usually faster then driving.Quite a road trip! I have a plane, but I don't fly over the Rockies either.
It's only a Cessna 172 Skyhawk, Top speed is 188 mph. It can't handle the variable cross winds the mountains have up at high altitudes. (More like, I don't like the turbulence it causes)Really? Flying is usually faster then driving.
