yes we did raise him from a chick, we ve raised a little over 130 from chicks this year (most of them meat birds) but he was the only 1 out of several others including some barred rock roos that is like that

I raise a barred rock from a chick, and i spoiled him so much that he would even attack my husband. lol

i guess the trick is not to mess with them as you raise them, we tried to handle them as much as possible when we were raising them, and they all turned out as violent as could be

Most of mine were freindly as heck, and i raised most of them as chicks.
I try to give as much attetion to them as much as i can that way they get used to being handled, bathed ect.

really ares were just the oppisite we handled them but it didnt seem to help, who did you get yours from?

Some from hatchery and few that i got from someone in florida. and then a whole lot that i hatched on my own.

Yep, i have gotten some from both. It also depends on the breed too, some breeds are just stuborn in nature.

But i really hope yours gets better. He is a beauty.
