Hey everyone.

I posted about my rooster, Rudy, about 2 weeks ago. He had a sprained leg, and we have spoiled him to help him get better. He walks now, and walks ok, but with a bad limp. His leg looks really bad, and I have some pictures below.

I am looking for opinions, professional or experienced, to see what kind of diagnosis we can find for his leg.

Can you get some photos from the front.
Does he always place his feet on top of one another?

Spurs could use a little trim to blunt them.

Scales are raised and rough, I would slather on some vaseline at least once a week. Work it into and up underneath the scales of the toes/feet.

Are you referring to the red streak down the side of that leg looking bad? That's usually an indication of hormones - fertility. I don't see anything concerning about that.

Ever since his sprain he has been standing with all his weight on his good leg, so he fumbles around a lot due to keeping his right leg off the ground (placing his right foot on his left foot). I'll get some photos of the front of the leg tomorrow.
