He may have but I’ll didnt see anything happen and I did spray it yesterday but he was a little cranky for me to spray him this am but I’ll keep on it! Thanks so much.It looks like the scales are missing.
Did he get his leg caught somewhere and rip them off?
I'd spray some Vetericyn or something similar on his leg and monitor him.
I think it looks like scaly leg mites, the red patches on his leg are where the scales have lifted up. I'd soak his legs with a warm soapy antibacterial water once or twice a week and keep him slathered down with some kind of oil afterwards to protect the leg while it heals.
Other leg seems normal.Check the other leg to see if there's red going down it. If it is, dont worry about it. It's completely normal this time of the year. Hormones flowing.
Yea the look scraped off from something. But no blood and didn’t seem to mind me grabbing his leg to inspect it.I agree that it looks like the scales on that one leg are missing. I would think more of an injury than leg mites.
