Rooster with eye problem *Updated With Pictures*

Suddenly one of my roosters is acting like he is going blind. At the very center of his pupils there is a bluish tint. The rooster is around 20 weeks old. I just noticed it today because he ran into a post. Has anyone heard of this? Or seen this? None of my other chickens are showing anything like it.

Never heard of such a thing. I have a vague memory of reading something about a chicken genetic issue that results in blindness, but then I guess he'd have been blind from the beginning.

I hope someone else will come along that's better-informed for you.

Looks like a cataract. I wonder if you could email the pic to a vet and see what they think?
