Rooster with frostbite/infection? on comb

My rooster seems to have gotten an infection, possibly from frostbite since it has been quite cold here during the nights lately. This is his second winter, and last year was actually far colder, and he made it through it fine. I don't really know what I should do for him, so I thought I'd come here for help. Any advice would be much appreciated, thank you!

Castor oil rubbed on his comb will help with the healing process. Massage his comb after applying the castor oil wil help with circulation.
