I have a rooster that's around 4 months old that started limping 4 days ago. His toes on one foot are now completely curled under and he walks on the back of his toes. There are no obvious injuries (no swelling or discoloration, etc.); it appears to look just like his other foot. Other than keep him in a pet carrier to limit his mobility, what suggestions do you have? I have searched through several websites and forums and can't find anything that seems to offer help in this particular case. Most foot/leg problems apply to either very young chicks or are applicable only if both feet are affected. TIA for any ideas you may have!
