Rooster with limp neck-fox attack

Mine is 100% better now. I took a syringe and fed him plain yogurt mixed with egg yolk twice a day as much as he wanted and I made a make shift sling to hold his head upright. If it was upright he could actually walk around. I think his spinal cord was swollen and after about 4 days he was good. I hope your recovers!
I am so happy to hear he survived and is back to normal.

Did you give him raw egg yolks or cooked?

Thanks so much for your feedback.

My sweet little old man is suffering from the same, how did you make that sling if I may ask?

I happened to have a velvet scrunchy that I took the elastic out of and put that around his neck and then cut a strip of T-shirt and made another circle to wrap around his tail and tied them together short enough to put a little pressure to keep his head elevated. The circle around his neck was just under his crop. Hope that makes sense.

Could you take a couple pictures?

I’m sorry I sent this way too late! How is your rooster???
Oh I'm sorry! I haven't been on in a minute, he's doing a lot better, he now holds his head up completely straight at all times but he eats drinks and sleeps fine! We contacted our vet and she just told us to give him time and see if he thrives. He's doing just fine now

Also I tried creating the neck sling like yours but he really didn't seem to like it, his head would flop to the side on his back whenever I put it on him, it also seemed to hurt him

So glad he’s doing better!
