Rooster with red feet...this normal?

I just noticed my rooster's feet have a red color to them. Is this normal? He doesn't seem to be bothered by anything. I'm still learning so figured it'd be best to ask. And yes, he likes to pose for pictures.

Hi Brad! I’ve asked the above two rooster gurus to give some advice for you.
I’m also interested in the answer, as my own rooster has redness between his toes & bottom of feet on occasion.

It's caused by a surge of hormones.
Cockerels get it when they first come is age.
Roosters get it in the spring and it stays until the molt starts then, the red fades.
